Just saw on Jim Scoutten's page that Bob Munden died yesterday evening. An entertaining shooter and a nice guy.

Bummer. He was quite a handler of sixguns. He did a quickdraw show in our old high school auditorium about 40 years ago. I was hooked. You don't see that kind of stuff anymore. Times were sure different then, and I miss the old ways. RIP Bob.

That really sucks, I can't find any details but I hadn't heard he was sick or anything although he was overweight. He was definitely the master when it came to not only sixguns but handguns in general. I've seen him do some wild stuff with autos too.

Man that's tough, he was definitely one of the best at speed shooting the revolvers.

He was the best with revolvers period. I remember seeing him pull off a 200yd shot at a balloon with one of the FA belt buckle 22's off hand. The stuff he did like splitting cards or splitting the bullet so it would hit multiple targets was just amazing. We definitely may have just lost the best all around Revolver guy in history. He had both unreal speed and accuracy.

One of a kind, a great shot, what I liked most about him was, he always CHALLENGED HIMSELF.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He sure knew how to put on one heck of a show. Saw him some years back at a local car dealership
he was sponsored by Dodge or Chrysler. My two kids really enjoyed the show as much as I did.

When I was 12 (1962) I watched Bob Muden`s fast draw at a NY sport show. I can remember after he finished he thanked the NYC police for their help getting his guns into NY state. He used wax bullets. Never forgot that show.....
