hitting high at 100yards - 08/18/2014 1:30 AM

I just loaded a bunch of Hornaday 240 grain swc lead bullets. Used unique at 1/2 grain off the top listed load. Shot way high at 100 yards. My sights are set using XTP 240 and some 180 hps. These are HOT LOADS using H110.
I would have expected the lead to be actually a lot lower than the other loads, not higher. THOUGHTS?

The slower moving bullets has more dwell time in the barrel, thus will strike higher.

That has been my experience also.
