Saw some boxes of 22s at Wal-Mart

For the first time since late 2012, I saw some boxes of 22s on the shelf. Couldn't tell which brand, but they were in long clear plastic boxes of what looked like 100 cartridges. I didn't buy any since I've wisely conserved my stock, but it's nice to see them on the shelf again.

Any time I see .22 on the shelf I leave it there. No need to feed the machine.

True. Apparently, there are still guys who memorize when stores receive their shipments, then buy up as many boxes of 22s as they can just to sell it at an inflated price online. I know there are several people that still do that at the Bass Pro in Memphis.

.22 Long Rifle and Magnum is plentiful in my area. I bought a 50 round box of CCI .22 Magnums at Gander Mountain. That was the first Magnum ammunition I have seen in years.

All rimfire still pretty scarce around here.

We have magnums quite often. Still haven't seen long rifle in a long time though.

I am in our local Walmart regularly for work and asked a guy I know who works in the sporting goods department when he last had magnums. He scanned the tag and said November 2013. The do occasionally have 22 lr. They do have the regulars who are waiting for the shipments.
