It's been too long

I shot a revolver today for the first time in over 15 years. My Ruger SBH 5.5" with 325WFN over 20.0gr of 296. Having my 16 year old son help load the rounds and shooting with me made it even better!

Well what took ya so long??? Welcome back! I can barely put up with a winter of not shooting, speing can't get here quick enough. Glad you had a good time and able to share it with your son, I always enjoy shooting with my girls.

It felt great to blow out the cobwebs. We are gearing up to shoot my SSK 45-70 14" Contender next. I sure did get a big smile from him today!

Fifteen years is a long time without shooting a handgun. I get grouchy if I go more than two weeks without shooting mine.

Let us know how it goes with the 45-70 contender. I bet that will make his face light up.

He's a smallbore rifle and shotgun competitor and I'm one of the team instructors. We shoot about 5-10,000 rounds per year between the two of us.

His face, and anything near the bore.
