The gun shoots very well for a Take-Off barrel and a slow twist. I'm rather pleased for what little I have in the gun. Sort of a spur of the moment parts gun.
I was initially going to thread the barrel and I may eventually do so. But, it's not at the moment. I actually shot the pistol mostly left handed and ran the bolt with my right hand today. Been awhile since I've shot a SP with a bi-pod and now I remember why I don't like the bounce that results. A brake will assuredly help with that. I've been spoiled with field rests and heavy bench rests.
I'll lighten the trigger more when I take it apart to coat the stock. The scope is a good hunting scope, which this gun is purpose built for. A little light powered for target work, but it suited fine.
I'm pretty happy with the build and plan to hammer some hogs in the near future with her.
