CVA Scout .243 - 02/09/2018 7:03 PM
I was window shoping on Bud`s Guns site and seen they had some CVA Scouts in stock. I wanted a 300 BLK but they only had .243`s. I ended up ordering one along with a Bushnell Trophy scope. Anyone have any feedback on the Scouts?

They get good reviews. Actually awesome reviews if you consider the price. Makes it really easy to spend as much on the glass as you do the gun

I have one and like it very much. It is extremely accurate and has a pretty good trigger. Its a subjective thing but I like shooting it better than my Contenders. It is pretty heavy though.

I have the .44 and LOVE it. I am actually sending the barrel off to Mike Bellm to rechamber it to 444 Marlin and port and crown it. It it a little on the heavy side. The trigger is fantastic on mine no creep and it breaks like glass. They are really accurate.

Mine is accurate, been shooting 90gr Noslers E-tip factory. Nosler ballistic with H-4350 has been excellent. The grip, and forearm are in need of improvement. For a break action under $300, it's a great way to break into handgun hunting. I'll be adding a break, and rifle scope to mine, in the future. If you can get past the grip, you'll most likely like it.
