I haven't used it for field use . It shoots well out of my glock 21 and 9mm shield. Clean and accurate. No ff or ff. Best I have for you

A friend of mine was attacked by a stray animal last weekend and used this to eliminate the threat.

He said it was one shot, and lights out from his 9mm shield. Large gaping entrance hole with no exit. Extensive damage as well. He stuck the animal in the spine area of the neck. Did the trick.

I carry it in my full size 1911, haven't had a chance to use it on an animal yet. Informal shooting at large rocks and small rocks on soft mud banks and misc other media, it appears to open up as advertised with the rubber plug in the nose but holds together well due to the harder core than in the critical defense line. Personally I wouldn't be afraid to use it on deer or medium sized pigs at normal 1911 type ranges, a good man knows his limitations, use accordingly and I think you won't be disappointed.

No experience with the Critical Duty ammo line, but if that is the same material as used in the FlexTip line of bullets I'm not a fan! I understand it is more of a wide meplat vs. the pointed FlexTip version, so there could be an advantage. . .I don't know. The FlexTip bullets in .44, .35 and .30 calibers did not impress me with on-game performance. . .pretty accurate though. Give them a try and let us know how they do.
