Shooting gloves

What gloves do you guys recommend? Just shooting and while hunting.

I have Carney Hands and smell of cabbage.

Gloves and handguns don?t work well for me. If they are thick enough to help, they screw up my trigger reach.

Max recommended ProAim shooting gloves when I asked a similar question. I bought a pair with 3/4 finger and loved them so much I bought a second pair of full finger for when it gets "nippy". I have bear paw kind of hands and they fit well and give me all the range of motion I need while shooting hand my revolvers.

I have found that winter golf gloves work pretty well.

I use the Mechanics brand from Wally world around $24. The ones with the rubber bumpers on the back of all the fingers. I removed the padded strip on the palm of the right hand glove, it feels better without it.For use with guns where I don't need knuckle protection I use cut proof gloves from where I worked .They are thin and have a thin rubber coating on the palm and fingers, very flexible and isolate my sweaty hands from the grip.

P.A.S.T. The glove I have is old. I don't know if they make them anymore? I've had mine for years.

I buy these off of ebay for like $5.00 each, first pair I bought lasted about two years. Not bad for five bucks. Search "finger less tactical gloves"

They are spendy, but PIG brand gloves are working well for me. Thin enough to maintain dexterity to tie your shoes, but enough padding to help the knuckles.

Like Zee I don't use gloves. Don't like anything over my hands when swinging a hammer, axe, shooting, knife work, hauling rope, even in winter. If its on my hands then its for warmth and i like mittens.

I use ProAim gloves for range work, but when I hunt, I use gloves by Sitka Gear called "Shooter" gloves.

Like Zee and bluecow I don't use gloves either. I'm very particular about hand placement on my guns and gloves tend to get in the way. Not only that but wearing gloves over gloves in the winter is a hassle.

I've got a pair of Caldwell Ultimate padded shooting gloves for when I'm practicing with my heavy kickers. They can make even my brutal Optima pistol fairly comfortable to shoot. While hunting, I always pull my right hand glove off in order to shoot, just to ensure the bulky fabric doesn't mess with my trigger pull.

The only time I wear gloves is when it is very cold and then I qearvwool mittens that have halve fingers with a mitten that can be pulled down over the fingers or pulled up out of the way. That way my trigger finger can feel the trigger like when I am at the range.
