45 ACP 230 gr vs 185 gr recoil

Has anyone done any research on recoil level between 230 and 185gr loads?

I have shot both in competition, both are required to make a certain power factor.
The heavier bullet makes that power factor with less velocity, and consequently less blast and felt recoil. The 230gr was easier to shoot rapidly and accurately.
The 200gr is an excellent compromise.
