"WTS" POSTS IN THE "SHOOTERS BENCH"?

TO THE POWERS THAT BE: THE CLASSIFIEDS DO NOT SEEM TO WORK TOO WELL, NOR DRAW TOO MANY HITS. I THINK IT WOULD BE NICE, AND MIGHT PERHAPS SPUR MORE TRAFFIC ON THIS SITE, IF IN SHOOTERS BENCH WE COULD POST SOME WANT TO SELL ("WTS") HANDGUN AND HUNTING RELATED ITEMS. WOULD THIS BE OK?

I agree, the classifieds on here kind of suck and are kind of difficult to use.

would be nice if they could cycle through a side bar or something.

The format of the classifieds stinks.

Years ago it worked well and had pretty good traffic.

IN THE "LOUNGE" SECTION OF ANOTHER SITE GUYS POST WTS ITEMS THAT MANY TIMES SELL FASTER THAN LIGHT. A "PROBOARDS" SITE CANNOT POST GUNS FOR SALE BUT HOLSTERS, GRIPS, RELOADING STUFF, ALL KINDS OF GUN RELATED STUFF SEEMS TO MOVE PDQ. IT IS TOO BIG A PAIN IN THE REAR TO GO TO THE "CLASSIFIEDS" HERE THAT I RARELY DO. IF IT WAS A "WTS" ON SHOOTERS BENCH I WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT PDQ.

?Shooters Bench? was intended for the shooting aspects of the sport. Range reports etc etc to keep the hunting section less cluttered. Of course yrs ago and under dif ownership.

It shouldn?t be a problem to add an actual classifieds section if the owners would. Its been requested before with little interest.

I don't post anything in the classifieds here because of little traffic. If we could post WTS items in Shooter Bench - there would probably be more interest. Just my 2 cents...

WELL, GUYS ARE BEGINNING TO POST FOR SALE ITEMS IN THE "SHOOTERS BENCH", EVEN HAD A REVOLVER SELL, AND FAIRLY QUICKLY. DO NOT KNOW WHAT CHANCE "HAD UP HIS SLEEVE" BUT NO OBJECTIONS YET FROM THE POWERS THAT BE. GOING TO LOOK FOR SOME GOODIES TO DO A "WTS" POST ON.

I DON'T EVEN CHECK THE CLASSIFIEDS ANYMORE, TOO BURDENSOME. IF YOU WANT TOP DOLLAR FOR ANYTHING YOU ARE ON THE WRONG WEBSITE.

I'm never looking for top dollar. Just trying to limit the loss...

TBH, I am not a fan of adding WTS items in the shooters bench forum.

Add a sub forum or something else but why clutter up the technical content with WTS items?

I'm sorry it took so long. Life's been majorly getting in the way of things on my end, and I've been neglecting the site. I'm definitely going to do better from now on.

I WENT TO THE FORUMS INDEX AND IN THERE FOUND THE CLASSIFIEDS FORUM, LOOKS LIKE IT USED TO BE A FORUM YEARS AGO.
