Spent a couple of hrs. at the range today. Rained all day and cold, but a covered firing line. Checking sights for a silhouette match tomorrow. A .22 Cricket ,22 Contender,7 TCU 10 in., Black Hawk .41 mag, and a few with the 357 Max. Going to change the Max scope, not enough windage to sight it in.
Picked up some 22 T C M range brass, about 20 pieces, 5 still loaded with the bullet pushed into the case and 5 or 6 with the primers blown out and the brass smoked around the pocket.They appear to be reloaded from the scratches on the brass. and definitely show high pressure signs on some pieces. Don't know if pressure was overload or fired with bullet pushed back into case. Little ole dinky cases were loaded with a ball powder, and I think would get hot quick if not extremely careful with charge weights. But that's only a guess on my part. My 221 Fireball only has from 1 to 2 grains from start loads to hot and these cases are smaller than that.
