Lipseys 460 and 500 S&W

Lipseys has commissioned Magnum Research to make two special BFR revolvers. Both are using BFR Bisley grips and both are 5 round unfluted cylinders. Both have 5 and 3/4 inch barrels and make these two big-bore cartridges easier to carry in that weight and that barrel length. I looked both up on the extensive Lipseys site.

One version is in 460 S&W magnum and can shoot 45 Colt and 454 Casull. The other is chambered in 500 S&W magnum and can handle 500 Special and 500 JRH cartridges.

They're out of stock on the .500 right now, but have a few .460's.

I would like to use the Magnum Research Custom Design tool for the BFR. I would pick the short frame 475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger with a 6 inch banded barrel and ejector tube butted up to the back of the barrel band. Add a BFR Bisley grip frame and black micarta grips. And do an 11 degree forcing cone alteration on the barrel. And custom Precision Center trigger and action job.
