Hi Ernie, what is your accuracy load? I am having trouble getting unde MOA with 4350 or even 4831sc with 140-142's. Maybe cartridge over all length is off?
PM me if you dont want to post the loads public.

Warning: This data is safe in some of my handguns. All but one have tight tolerance chambers.

I use Lapua brass, Fed match primers, H-4350, and a number of bullets weighing from 130-142 grains. Typically, 140-142 grain bullets though.
Since my throating and chambers are slightly different from gun to gun (one MOA Maximum too), I use from 49.0-51.5 grains of H-4350 for the 140 class bullets.
Only one XP has the 51.5 grains-I get ejection marks on the head of my cases, but extraction and case life has been good-It is also super-accurate in that XP with the 140 A-MAX's. Typically, I engage the lands at the beginning of my load development. again, every gun is different.
Hope this is helpful.

Thanks Ernie, this has been very helpful. I didn't post onteh regular forum because I wanted to lessen the chatter. I know you are the 6.5 King and wanted your opinion.
Back to the bench!!

Ernie
Do you size the brass at all?
I have a bud that shoots the 6.5-284 in 1000yds BR comp's and when I was talking to him the other day he said that the chamber was snug enough that the brass came back almost to the orignal shape he poped the primer out and added a new one - powder and a bullet.
