321 Bullberry What is it? - 02/14/2009 9:14 PM

Was browsing GB and saw a 22 inch 321 Bullbery barrel for sale. I am not familiar with this cartridge. Wondering if anyone knows the parent cartridge or where I can get ballistics, loading info or any knowledge of this cartridge.Check out this link:

Thanks in advance for any input.

I have looked on Bullberry site and don't see it mentioned. I have emailed Bullberry and asked but, was hoping someone here knew something about it.

Just recieved this reply from Bullberry.

As for 321 Bullberry . . . it is otherwise known as the 321 Bullschuetzen. Fred made them prominently for the Schuetzenfest games. I would guess that it is a pistol length barrel, as they were generally made at (I think) 15" for the game. Fred used to compete in and sponsor a lot of the games back in the 90's. The cartridge is a dramatically shortened 32-40 blown out to accept a true .321 cast bullet.
