Shooting went well.

While I was on my Uncle’s 1100-acre ranch I took advantage of the space and went and shot a little. My 8mm GNR is awesome!(405 Win case necked down to 8mm) It was shooting 3 shot ¾ in groups with “factory” 200gr Accubonds at 100 yards. I think that with a little handloading that it will be a real shooter! With the break that is currently sports, its recoil is comparable to my TC Custom Shop 270 Win with factory break and very pleasant. I was shooting into the sand banks of the river and manage to retrieve a few bullets.

8mm GNR at 100yds... 200gr Accubonds on left and 185sp on right. Note the hollow core of the 185sp(bottom left of bullet) The Accubonds were ALL perfect!


30 GNR at 50yds... Hornady 30Cal 150SPBT's at 2400fps


44mag at 35yds... The two on the left are 240 SWC at 1250FPS+ and the one on the right is a 300XTP at 1350FPS


I really like my new sights on my 4 5/8 SBH... Millet back sight and Marble front sight
