I went to the local gun shop for my Birthday ... I have them looking for a new Ruger Bisley in .45 Long Colt. 6 or 7.5 inch barrel. I can't wait! I hope he can get one in sooner than later! Happy Birhtday to me!

How did your Bisley shoot? I have one in 45 colt, it started out as a 7.5" and I had it shortened to 4 5/8". I wish I hadn't now, I lost 150 FPS of velocity and had to put two different front sights on it before I got it back in the 10 ring. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I have only shot about 35 rounds through it so far, but am hoping to get out this weekend for another sesion if the weather doesn't get too bad ... got another 2 or 3 inches of winter last night ... the first 35 rounds were only out to 25 yards and all off hand, so I was just getting a rough site in and satisfying the urge to shoot a new gun!
