After asking for information on the bfr 45-70 I called the gun dealer and asked about one Monday,He said He had just sold one and it was returned after 19 rounds with a locked-up action,bad mojo I figured so I asked about a 454 bfr,well I picked it up today after work,bought a box of 240 grs advertised vel.is 1800 fps.I stopped on the way home and shot 3 rds at a rock at about 100 yds,it was avery comfortable gun to shoot without near the recoil I expected,very nice.
