This is a light crowd but there is a big one in the pic. Going to work them over next weekend. There are about 30 coming in to the feeder.

We're setting up hog lights but they are coming in between 10 and 1AM and I doubt that we'll get off more than one shot since they will be out of the light once they are 10 yards or so away from the light post.

I have a friend up here that has a similar problem on his lease just off the caprock. He bought a semi-suto 3 1/2" 12 ga so that he could try to thin on them a little when he gets a bunch at a feeder. Not as much style as a handgun, but probably more effective.
It's more important where you hit 'em, than what you hit 'em with.

If you can get close enough it would be a good spot for a suppressed 22 or 223. Then you could whackem and stackem!

Ok I should not tell this but considering the issue at hand. I have taken these: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Star-Expl...ch-All+Productsand combined them into a gallon plastic jug. Then set said jug on log in pond that turtle frequent. .243 encore from 200 yds --I thought it was going to blow the window out of the truck. BTW the 6 turtles-- itty bitty parts you can buy it in bulk here https://www.tannerite.com/shop/category/exploding-rifle-targets/these targets are quite fun but they are a bit $$$$
