got the go ahead to pick-up my new pistol today. grabbed some shells and some targets to try her out. i set target about twenty yards down range and get ready to play when a doe and her newborn fawn jump the trail fifty yards down range from me. i waited a few minutes and a coyote jumps the trail, a little bit he pops back out,i fired two .357s at him and he did'nt even flinch. third shot hit him sqaure in shoulder and knocked him down. what are the odds with a new out of box pistol at third round down barrel and my first coyote also. a good omen i think!

And a couple of happy deer as well, until fall that is ;-)
