Well my new to me Neos arrived Tuesday evening. It was as represented by the seller, excellent overall condition.
Stuck the Mueller Quickshot reflex sight that I received from Dennis at Mizzou Mule Guns on it early Wed.
Wanted to do it right & head for the range Wed morning but didn't have time so I hit the woods near the house for a quick 10 min shooting session. Short version is I "-0-"ed it on a rock about the size of a tennis ball at 30ish yds & put 7 magazines of Federal Champion bulk hollowpoints through it. No hickups of any kind & a ball to shoot. Trigger definetly needs help!
Quickshot worked great & I think I will really like it. Since it has a 3 yr warranty I'm tempted to try one on my 480 Super Redhawk in place of my 30mm Ultradot & see how it holds up.
More when I can get to the range.

A quick PS from this AM to the short report (that was supposed to be posted yesterday but didn't make it).
Still no "range" time, IE. real targets & a bench, but I hit the woods for 20 rds this morning & was bouncing around (not hitting every time but moving every time) a 20ga hull at 10 yds. On the drive out I spotted 2 snowshoe hares off the side of the road. Got off the road & took a shot at one. They were siting one above the other on a bank 19 yds away. Upper one was profiled & I tried head shots on him twice before hr decided to be somewhere else. 1 was just to the right of the base of the ears, the other just to their left. Both looked like they should have taken hair with them. After he left I held at the base of the neck of the 2nd one who was sitting with his back to me. The Federal Champion hp took him right between the shoulder blades for a bang flop with just a couple of twitches. He's soaking in salt water as we speak.
If I ever get the trigger worked on this little Neos will be my fovorite gun. I like the feel better than my Ruger MK II.
93 rds so far without a hickup.

Thats Great to hear Vance!! Im really happy you like the Neos. Congrats on the hare also. Small game with a handgun is my favorite thing to hunt. We have alot of squirrel here so me and my dog get alot of woods time on those short hunting trips. I hope you get to the range soon. I would like to know what kind of groups that Neos is putting up for you. Keep us posted and have fun on your 10 minute hunting trips. Congrats again!

The looks of the gun take a little getting used to & the trigger sucks.
BUT, I REALLY like the feel of it & it shoots well as well as being reliable (so far).
