Hello All
I have been a handgun hunter most of my life. I am now in my mid 60's and enjoy it as much as I did in my earlier years. I started out using a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag. Graduated to a Smith 29 44 mag. I have been using a Freedom Arms 83 in 454 for the past ten years. Aquired a Smith 460 for longer range and ease of mounting a scope.

Just Michigan. Would like to go South some day for some big hog hunting but that is about all. I hunt here quite a bit during the deer seasons of bow, firearm, muzzleloading and late firearm. I work part-time at a local gun shop in the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Sorry misunderstood the question. I hunt for deer mostly in Ionia and Eaton counties now. When younger I hunted the North a lot. Roscommon(Houghton Lake area),Clare(leota area),and Wexford(North Manton area along the Manistte River)counties.

I thought the only info ,most of the time,was in the Sixgunner,until I found this forum too.I started handgunning in the early 80's but in Illinois at that time small game,varmints where the only critters on the list but that was o.k.,now we have whitetails too so thats all the more better!!
