I had a friend make me a set of oversized grips for my RSBHH just to get a feel for them. Once it was all said and done they actually fit and feel great. My question is do they make oversized rubber grips for the SBHH?

If it is a blackhawk frame both Hogue and Pachmayr make grips for it, not so for the Bisley. I have both grips on my blackhawks and to me the Pachmayrs feel the best, but if possible you should feel both before deciding. The pachmayrs have a flat profile on the sides and no finger groves, while the Hogues have finger groves and a pronounced palm swell [which I dislike].For the Bisley we just have to wait till Hogue or Pachmayr wake up and start producing them.

does your blackhawk have a round trigger guard or does it have the dragoon style with the square back.

Too bad though I could have got you the pachmayr's with finger grooves at a good price. One of the outfits I deal with has the ones for the square trigger guards on clearance.

it's the back of the trigger guard your wanting to look at. The standard is just a normal rounded shape but if it were square you'd most likely know it. The back of the trigger guard comes straight down and then makes a right angle forward and then rounds out until it meets the frame again. I guess another way to explain it is if you look at the side of the gun the trigger guard should either look like 1/2 of an "O" or 1/2 of a "D".

I bought a houge brand grip for my new model blackhawk. Gun has the safetylock under grip. Seems to fit with the smaller of the two pins, test fired ok. Maybe should have sent grip back, sturm&ruger site is only site that says its not for nmbh but doesn't say so in instructions that came with grip.

...For the Bisley we just have to wait till Hogue or Pachmayr wake up and start producing them. The custom grip guys seems to indicate that Bisley grip frames are all "different". Making a generic set of grips doesn't seem to work out well. I have bought wooden Hogue grips and their fit is awful. Wouldn't put them on my gun.
