I made it home from the hospital today. Overall the procedure wasn't a big deal. I was awake, though sedated, through the whole thing. It's kind of interesting watching someone poke around inside your heart with fishing line. My leg is a bit sore where they inserted the tube but it's a good thing I didn't ignore the symptoms - I had a 99% blockage in one of the branch arteries. Again - any of you guys ever have a slight chest pain even after a brief exertion go get it looked at. It could save your life.

I want to thank everyone for their notes and wishes...kind of put a lump in my throat when I got home and saw the posts.

Gary

I just got home from work. I was so relieved to see your post Gary! You take care of yourself and I wish you a speedy recovery. This should be just a small speed bump. You will be out and about and shooting in no time.

Take care,

I too will be praying for a speedy recovery.
While you're taking it easy, you ought to take a look at the new Handgun Hunter print magazine. It's unbeliievable! But take your time & savor it. That's what I'm doing. Only a couple of articles a day, & not skipping any to get to the ones that look like favorites. It'll keep you going till you can get back in the field.

Gary, Glad to hear everything went ok for you. Too bad people ignore those warning signs til it's almost too late. Best wishes on a speedy recovery and you get back to the range soon.

Damn Gary, if you were a horse we'd have to shoot ya.

Seriously, take care of yourself and don't try to do too much too quick. In a few days with all that good blood flow going again, you will probably feel like champion.

Sure is good news there. Glad to hear it went smooth on the procedure. Now just sit back and take it easy for a while. Just think now you have all the time to surf the net, but could be troublsom with all the toys you might find out there you just need. But yes you dont want to do to much to soon. Take care and we will keep you in thoughts and prayers. Get well soon, Gary.
