Im thinking about trying a different reflex sight on my 30.30 Tender. I have a Burris Fastfire on it at the moment but I was thinking maybe something with brightness adjustment, different reticles and 2 MOA dot. Can you guys point me in the right direction? It also has to hold up to my 30.30 recoil that has a brake installed.

Ultradot makes the PAN-A-V. I have one but have yet to try it out.

Can someone tell me how this:

is different than this:

??? (Other than the name printed on the side of course, oh, and $37)

Two different manufactuers? I have subjected a number of Ultradots to an extreme amount of abuse, and they have withstood all of it. I have never heard of this other brand and cannot comment on their resilience to recoil. Plus, the Ultradot has a lifetime warranty.

Can you see the obvious resemblance? They are all but identical. Perhaps the $37 is for the lifetime warranty.

I see that they are nearly identical, but you never know what's inside. Ultradots are still at a much lower price point than many other brands of red dots, and I feel they are much better than units costing significantly more. Personally, I would pay the extra $37.00......but hey, that's just me!

Ultra-dots get my vote too.My SRH .454 has had several thousands rounds through it with no problems for the Ultra-dot.
