4-5 years ago I picked up a 50 cal Traditions M/L, 10 " bbl pistol at a pawn shop. I had it for sale here for $125.00 for a short while w/ no takers...I'm glad. I've played with it a bit but took it out today and really shot it. Darn, what fun. 50 gr's below a Speer .495 RB gave me 2" groups at 25 yds. In the past I used T/C Maxie balls and some sabot's but damn...those big slugs recoil a lot. I actually got a 3" group at 50 yards w/ the 320 gr. Maxie balls, but I can't take the recoil. But a a fun gum this is is it.

I've come full circle from semi-autos, to 20 years of Contender and a Encore..now back to M/L's. I forgot how fun these are!

I just may carry it for deer this year. I drew a fantastic tag here in OR; Metolius Deer either sex M/L tag. This is a very desirable tag in a tough to draw area.

There are some monster bucks in there too, I've seen quite a few big mulies taken with rifle and bow in that unit.

I know that there are some huge Mulies there. My neighbors son took a 28"'r there last bow season. Green Ridge and Black Butte can be producers. Down lower towards Lake Billy Chinook too. I'll have to check the boundaries. Think of any others....
