Has anyone put into writing the necessary steps to put a single shot pistol together? Especially what NOT to do....like one person posted that the barrel has to be a certain length and the entire pistol has to have a certain over-all length. I was wondering if anyone had addressed any of these issues.

Different states has different laws with barrel lengths.

What I'm getting at is I don't want to spend a ton of money on a single shot pistol that I can't legally shoot. Perhaps the National Shooting Sports Foundation or the NRA could answer my question. If we don't get more shooters/hunters interested in the shooting sports,they'll just go away.
