Anyone read it?
It's a good mag in it's own right, but the reason I ask is because they have a hundgun hunting column every issue. Not real in depth, but much better than nothing!

And he's such a dashing fellow! LOL! Well everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'd have to say he writes better than he looks! 
He has done good feature articles in there too including one on one of my favorite subjects, Alaskan brown bear (although not a handgun hunting story...).

I like it. I think it's a great magazine. Here in Michigan you can join the Michigan Bear Hunters Association for $20.00 a year and you get Bear Hunter Magazine for the year. It's a great deal.

I dont read a lot of magazines, as they seem to blow a lot of smoke, and always recommend whatever the sponsers are currently pushing. I will check out their webpage and see if theres any substance to it. I'm always up for good reading though.
You cant shoot a big one, if you shoot a little one first.......

I get Bearhunter. The handgun column is sort of generic in content and suggestions. I wrote a story for them about brown bear hunting. I'm not too computer savy. They had me jumping through all kinds of hoops and never would publish my story. I'll save my stories for The Sixgunner and a book.

It has to be generic when you have a limit of 1,000 words and trust me when I say it's a source of frustration when there is so much more to say, but no room to do it.
