Thanks Guys, for all the help on getting my Contender up and running. After many years away from handgun shooting,I got back into it this year. I picked up a Contender with a 35 Rem and 223 barrel. The final combo is a Bushnell red dot on the 35 Rem, shooting Hornaday 180 gr SSP with H322. The 223 barrel has a T/C 2 x 7 shooting 50gr Blitzking with H322.

Sounds llike a good combo Mark. This will be my first year hunting with a Contender pistol as well. Yours is set up about thee same as mine. I have one in .375 Win. wearing a Bushnell Red Dot scope. I also have a .35 Rem barrel I hope to take a deer with too, its topped with a Weaver Classic 2x scope. Good luck!

Wear plugs or muffs, Relax, Breathe Deep, Pick a Spot, Caress the Trigger, Follow Through, take lots of pictures. Sounds like the guns are in order an the load work about done, so practice, practice, practice, and have a succesful season , GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
