Do you mean their loaded ammo? Or just the bullets?

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I believe the leverevolution bullet is the same FTX bullet I shoot in my 460XVR. So far shot at 4 deer and with 4 DRT. Good pass thru and haven't had to track one yet. Safe hunting.

I used them in my T.C. 30-30 to shoot a big daddy Warthog, and in 45-70 to shoot a Kudu, both 1 shot kills. Highly reconmend.

Don't confuse shooting with hunting.
Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.

I do not recommend the Leverevolution pistol bullets at least in 357mag and 45colt. From my guns they never seem to expand.

While I cannot comment on how they perform on game, I do know they are very accurate out of my .35 Remington Contender.

Have very good results with lever in .44 mag 225g ftx and .357 mag 140g ftx factory loads. Started out as a curiosty and it shot well, then the price came down. Seems like Hornandy is real competitive and available. Tried Fed Fusion 240g in my SRH .44, that was not good, all over the target and two rounds wouldn't drop into wheel. Had a bulge in cases and fellow standing behind said alot of extra stuff belching out of cylinder and gap, that was one box of 20. Have shot hundreds of Hornandys with out a problem.

The 140 grain .357 leverevolution bullet is longer and thicker in the jacket than a coventional handgun bullet. It is built more like a rifle bullet and is brilliantly accurate but expands very little when launched at 1365 fps from my 6.5 inch revolver. My experiance with the leverevolution 357 on game is 2 alligators, 2 groundhogs, and a turkey. This is hardly an orthodox test.

Pasco, is your TC 30-30 a pistol or rifle, what barrel length?
Curious about what the performance of the 30-30 140 grain would be in a 14" pistol barell.

Found more info in other threads. Sounds like not significantly better than the common 150 grain JSP, at least at ranges of 100 yards or less.
