Well its almost here...Indianas firearms season starts tomorrow! This will be my first year ever of hunting with a handgun, and I cant wait!
Original plan was to take the .375 Winchester Contender, but the wife wanted her red dot scope on another gun...sooooo....
Switch to plan #2....35 Remington Contender w/ 2x Weaver classic. I took it out last weekend and its dead on out @ 100 yards. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will have a freezer full of meat because Im not gonna be able to hunt on Sunday. Good luck to any and all hunting tomorrow, and be safe!

I hope you both bag a monster buck. My grandson and I will be hunting in Jefferson County. He will be using my Encore .460 rifle firing .454 Casulls. If he gets a deer I will then use my XP-100 .308. The weather forecast looks great.
