Good luck. We are all done :-(

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Have a good time this weekend. I hope you get one.
I will only be carrying my Ruger 41mag this season.

got my 12" encore 7-08 barrel Tuesday so I haven't had time to sight it in. I guess that I will start the season with the 35Rem again, and hopefully get a break at midday to sight in the encore- I have a 15" that cloverleafs but the 12 inch is a nicer length when the weather gets ugly... we had 4inches of snow this morning, but most of it is gone now... good luck this time of year makes me miss ole tig.

I will start out with the striker in .308 tomorrow and after the woods settles down I'll take the MOA in 6.5 x 47 lapua. Got a couple spots picked out where I can stretch its legs. Good luck all, posts pics and stories and most of all stay safe..

Good luck to all those that are still hunting...I took my 44 Super Blackhawk Hunter with me along with my 7-08 rifle. Had a doe at 5 yards from my blind on opening morning. I had her "dead" in the sights of my 44. I decided to wait and see what else happens...I shouldn't have. Oh well, that is why they call it hunting and not shooting.

Had a hard time finding horns, the deer are in the corn fields and staying low because the weather has been so warm. that is supposed to change.

I did manage to see a nice buck today, but it was in the closing minutes and I couldn't get a clear shot, he'll be back. then it started to rain...... then I hit a doe with the truck.

8 days of hunting on State land (Sterling Forest) and saw a total of 5 deer.
Could not shot a doe this season so it's tag soup this year.
Heading down to S.C. to meet up with my son and do some hog hunting in a few weeks.
