Whit has one that is pretty swung out. He might have some photos

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Yup -- I have an SRH in .500 Linebaugh (the first picture) with a five-inch barrel, and I had one (forum member cottonstalk now owns it) in .475 Linebaugh with a 7.5-inch barrel (bottom photo).

Yowza, I imagine those Hogue Tamers earn their keep with those two.

Rod, too.

Hey Whit, any more pics of the .475, i'm leaning towards the to-tone look. I like the S&W 629 Hunter but its a bit rich for my blood. What happens to acuracy if barrel is cut shorter, rifle twist per inch. Wouldn't want to goof up a good gun.

The 5-inch gun is every bit as accurate as the 7.5-inch gun. The barrel length has no effect on accuracy, but may be harder for some to shoot because of the shorter sight radius. But, I have a red dot on it and it's not an issue in the least.

Both of these are .44 Magnums:

These two were already super accurate. The fluting, polishing, jeweling and bead blasting were for aesthetics only.

Thanks, tradmark!! Rarely are the words pretty and SRH used in the same sentence! LOL! Personally, I think there is beauty in their functionality!

Very nice, Ken!

Thanks guys, my mind is made up to build a gun the way i want it, i'll keep it forever and it'll look good on display. I used to do it with scooters and cars why not guns & knives!

Got a question i see around often but didn't pay attention till it was bothersome to me. Hard to reach hammer on Blackhawk, also have to make positive sure its pulled back and locked when cocking it. Does a Bisley hammer make it easier. When cocking hammer it locks way at the last bit of travel, checked my and other Blackhawks, there all the same, except an old three screw, it had some leway. Thats my dads old 4&3/4 and its got issues like a grocery list. Might send that one to Ruger for refurbish only if they will promise to leave it looking worn out

The Bisley hammer spur is much easier to reach than the BH hammer, but the SBH hammer spur is only a little taller than the Bisley hammer spur and can be installed on your BH yourself.
