sorry no pictures, got me a fat doe at very close range with the twelve guage bumper on the front of my 95 chevy pick up. hunted all day sunny and fifty degrees , and had to field dress a doe in the dark in the rain on the side of the road.

haha yes. I had that same luck during firearms season too. hit one on the way back. looked all over for it and no sign. was looking forward to roadkill backstrap!lol

this one bounced off the bumper and shot down the ditch to a culvert pipe and loaded the pipe backside first. I nearly fell on my face trying to get her out of the pipe and out of the ditch. Once she was up on the roadway help arrived from both directions and everyone had a phone out to call 911 so I would tag it and take it and not leave it behind for their dogs to feed on. I normally process my own venison, but the temp here isn't supposed to drop below forty for the next five days, so I took her to a processer. I didn't have the ambition to shoot her why should I have to cut and wrap her?
