Hunted the first 2 days of the Ohio gun season (or as I like to call it "walking with gun" Only saw 2 deer (one clocked at 100mph) and the other I just saw its tail (LOL) Not a lot of deer moving this week (but lots of blaze orange) Good luck all!
Don't give up. I just shot my fourth this morning, large doe walking at 78 yards. I used my SBH .44 again. I led too far and hit her in the neck, dropped after a flip.
Three days into the PA season. Passed on a small 5pt buck Monday and have not seen a hair since. Thought he was a fork horn (not legal to shoot in my area) but an hour later a friend shot him and I got a better look....he was BARELY legal!
Wind supposed to calm down on Wednesday...gonna break out the LR gear and do some glassing.
