I have been invited to hunt my friend's 50 acres (crawling with whitetails), and to have the entire place to myself this Saturday!
I am planning on taking the SBH Bisley .44 mag with me for opportunistic shots, so pray for favor for me please! I haven't connected with the handgun yet so this is a great opportunity.
It's also a doe Saturday, so my chances get multiplied.
Between the Encore ML and the SBH, I should have all the distances covered.

Saw a young buck at last light about 150 yds away, and by the time I got the Ruger laid down and the Encore mounted, he was behind some trees. When I turned back around, a doe coming out of some young pines sighted me and did a u-turn.
There's always next week!

Well, no joy with the handgun this year, but muzzleloader season netted me a trophy of (probably) a lifetime and enough meat for the year, so God is good, and I am glad.
