hey guys! just wanted to introduce myself. i have lurked here for awhile and i have just got back into handgun hunting. i laid off for a few years to persue everything with my recurve:) anyways im back to toting my ruger SA and GP100, both in .357. i have taken a few deer and a hog with them in the past. i simply hunt like im bowhunting....40yrds is a long shot for me:) and the lil .357 seems to work great on these bama deer.
anyways, just wanted to say hey and thanks for all the awesome threads!

welcome! I hunted in Cuba, Al. until last year. I also bowhunted before and got into the handgun thing when I started to miss it.

haha! i have done really well on hogs, turkey, and small game but i have hunted for years and never been able to close the deal on a deer with my recurve....its started to really wear on me this year, plus i have 5yr. old and 6 month old sons. cant shoot my bow as much anymore:)
