Finally did it! Took this 8 point with my 6tcu. Range was 190 yards. Used Nosler 80 grain ballistic tip ahead of 26.5 grains of Benchmark. It was a head on shot. The bullet entered just left of center in the chest, traveled the entire length of the buck and exited high on the left thigh. What a thrill! hunting

Congrats G-man. Just think a few short months ago you didn't think anything good was going to happen. Now look. persistence pays off again. It's a fine deer with any firearm but with a handgun it is even more special. Again congratulations.

looks like a good buck and I like your bumper sticker. I'll have to try whitetails someday all we've got out here are blacktails and mulies, and my wife is kicking my butt in the blacktail dept. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
