I'm a new member here and thought i'd say hello. I've always liked handguns but am somewhat new to handgun hunting. Never making a kill on anything larger than squirells
\:\)
Just picked up a Contender in .44 mag. 10" barrel and thought it would be fun to try my hand at deer hunting. So it looks like i'll be hitting the range alot between now and next years seasons. I'm sure i'll have a bunch of new guy questions and i hope i don't piss off to many people with them. BTW,you guy's have an awesome board here!

Welcome aboard. Handgun hunting can be humbling at first but stick with it an you will reap the rewards. You might wanna pick a used 22LR barrel for cheap practice and set it up the same as your 44. Have fun.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
