Any of you guys have any projects on the drawing board or are you planning on making a trip to local gunstore to buy or order a new toy?

I don't have much other than some cool projects for customers. I'll try to finish re building my 500 Linebaugh and I may play with re chambering some more Contender/Encore barrels but that's it. The one in particular is my 7-30 Contender Varmint gun. I'll be going down for my rescheduled visit with Mike the middle of February and he's going to show me how he does his work and we are going to rechamber the 7-30 to the 7mm Bellm (7X444)

Converting a stock 270WSM striker to a 7WSM rear grip in an aluminum chassis. Krieger barrel will be used. Other than that night pick up a 686 from a friend

I'm tinkering with some stuff that's been in safe but not seen much love. One I'm playing with now is, while not a handgun, pretty cool for its intended purpose. It's a Savage 24V .222 Rem/20ga.......a complete do-all rifle....anything from squirrels to deer is fair game with a flip of the selector. I have two of them...one is pretty nice while the other is ok. I'm playing with the "ok" one, got it for $40 from a fella needing beer money!!

I'm hoping to get rid of a few long guns. I'd like to get a SRH in 480, but need to raise funds for that.

I have a bunch of irons in the fire, many of which will be headed your way Rod. There is just never enough money to tackle everything I wish to.

Rod, too.

About the only thing I can see me purchasing this year is a BFR in .460 S&W and maybe a Ruger Mark III.

I do need to get some repairs done on the .357 (Security Six) & the .44 (Ruger SBH).

I am planning on sending the FA M555 to Freedom & have a set of grips & a 500 WE cylinder made for it. Also, have a plan in the works with Rod on taking a Ruger Bisley & making something in 475 caliber. Details to be worked out later.

My buddy is an F-class rifle shooter and builds all of his own guns. I was visiting with him quite awhile back and he agreed to help me with a new xp project, so I bought a pristine xp in original center grip and we are in the process of cannabalizing it for the receiver and trigger mechanism. It will sport a heavy 18" 6mm Bartlein chambered in 6 BRX. Then we are going to mill an aluminum component system stock and probably top it off with an 8 X 32 Sightron. Actually enjoying the build process quite alot, thinking it will make that first shot even sweeter.

I have a couple projects and a new toy I would like to conguer this year. Putting my 7mm.08 together and hopefully getting her dialed in to atleast 200yrds. Having my RSBHH worked over by yours truly ROD and getting it dialed in . My new toy would be a SS 357 with a 4" or 6" barrel. I even thought about looking at a Bisley just to feel the difference between that and my BH.

Plan on adding a Blackhawk Trigger and Wolf spring kit to my SA Mil-spec 1911--- Want to add a 9mm Sig --not sure of the model yet but I like the old 226 & 228-- plan to add a B-Sq rail to my 5.5 " MK-II Ruger then add a Red dot sight(OMG)yes a red dot. Plan to add springs and a power Costom pawl to my 4 5/8" ss BH 45 colt. Also building 3 Encores and a G2 for my buddy Mark for our PD hunt in May. All MGM 2ea. .223 One & one --one .308 and one .243-- Couple rifle projects too --will not discuss-- but one is a very nice .243

Lots of tune ups this year--as they say in the movies--ghost rider the patern is full

Lots of reloading projects that I ignored in 2011, as the acquisition cycle hit an all time high...self-imposed hiatus in 2012

However, awaiting delivery in early 2012 for my Apache Machine XP in 6.5/284...and Santa brought me a hog-eradication tool, a 6.5 Grendel DMR-Style long stick!

I'm planning a Jack Huntingon .500 JRH Super Redhawk conversion. Anybody want to donate a gun for this endeavor?

Awesome, can't wait to see it! How long will the barrel be? I sacrificed two of my own SRHs for similar projects -- one a .480 I bought in 2001 and one a .454 I bought the following year.

I have two planned and a 3rd "maybe"!

I want to send a FA 454 to Jack Huntington and have it converted to .475. I have a 45 Colt Bisley that I want to send to Rod and have a tight chambered (from a 44 cylinder) 6 shot 45 with a banded front sight. The 3rd is a 45 Colt SAA that I want to do something with. I have a .357 cylinder that I will either have cut to a tight 45, or have it re-barreled and converted to a 44 special.

Whitworth, I plan to make it a "triplet" to the twins, my 480 Ruger and 454 SRH's:

So....7.5" barrel, Hogue grip, Ultradot on top. The 480 and 454 have both received SSK action jobs and are shooting great. I hate to mess with them so I have been on the lookout for another SRH to use for the conversion. I received a call from my FFL today that a 7.5" 44 Mag SRH came into their shop today with my name on it. Thank goodness for Gunbroker.
\:\)

Problem is, I want to set up a 44 Mag SRH with an Ultradot too. Quadruplets? I'll probably shoot the new 44 before sending it to Huntington; hopefully it shoots terribly! If it shoots good, I might have to find another SRH to sacrifice!

A markIII hunter was on the list until I ran into a used .454 SRH Alaskan at cabelas yesterday for a nice price. It was made in 2006. By the way, anyone with info on that gun,(like, 2006 was a bad year...lol) your feed back is welcomed.

I plan to collect a few more future projects. I need a lathe, still a couple years off, before I can really get the ball rolling.

I got a few trigger jobs and other little stuff to do.

And some design work for a few things I would like to do in the future.

I'm trying to buy peoperty so I'm playing my cards (toy funds) pretty conservative while dealing with the landowner. It's 40 acres that I've hunted for 23yrs and wanted to buy for the last ten years. There may finally be a chance so I have to be ready!!! BTW....I already have a brush hog for the place I don't even own yet!!

Gonna buy a new brush hog for the property.

Good luck with acquiring that property, Dan!

I have an FA in 41 mag, if it doesn't sell soon, it is going to Huntington for a conversion to 44mag.
