I shoot a Glock 20SF which I have a great fondness for. It is very manageable and accurate. There are many after market parts such as adjustable sights and extended barrels that can be found. With that being said, I would love to have a Delta Elite, STI Perfect 10 or a Bren 10. All are great guns.

I have a G20. It doesn't have adjustable sights but I haven't had a need to adjust mine. I killed a small buck with it in November and was pleased with the performance. I do plan to add the truglo night sights in the next few weeks and use it to hunt some hogs over lighted feeders after deer season. I like the delta elites but can't justify the extra cost. The Glock 20 has a reputation for being more accurate than many of their other guns. I have shot three and all were accurate. Mine will shoot in 2.5 inches at 25 yds like it came out of the box. That's not what some 1911's are capable of but as good as most of the 1911's I have shot. I haven't loaded any 200 grain loads for it yet and may wish I had adjustable sights but right now I send both 165 and 180 grains down range at 1200fps and they have the same POI.

I would look for a used Smith&Wesson 1006 with adjustable sights . Great pistol for all kind of 10mm Auto ammo. My 10mm Auto collection: Bren Ten Standard, Colt Delta Elite Custom and a S&W 1066 NS.

If your pocket is deep enough, this longslide 10mm is pretty sweet.

i HAVE A GLOCK 20 WITH ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS,A DELTA ELITE WITH ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS AND AN EAA WITNESS HUNTER WITH ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS. THE GLOCK IS VERY ACCURATE BUT THE EAA IS THE MOST ACCURATE AND PLEASANT TO SHOOT.

First off 10mm isnt my thing. But I had the chance to shoot one this year that belongs to a good friend who does love that round. His EAA Witness Hunter was suprisingly accurate and easier on the hands than his Glock 20 or the Delta elite I fired a few years ago when I thought seriously about the 10mm. If I was thinking of going 10mm I would give the EAA platform a hard look.

I didnt think about this with my first post but Smith makes the 610. Its a 10mm revolver. I have read good things about it but I have no experience with the weapon. I also dont know about available configurations but it does have adjustable sights and being a Smith it is bound to be a great handgun. Some of the other guys on here may be able to help you with information about the 610. I also cant help you with television as I dont watch it. Wish I had more information but it gives you another option and options are always nice.

I have several of the 610s, 4" and 6", Ruger Blackhawks 6 1/2" 10mm / 38-40 convertables, and the Glocks. All shoot really well! However, the capacity issue always seems to come up, 6 vs. 9 to 16 rounds. Well for hunting, 6 is plenty! For self defense, more than 6, well if you need more than that you're in the $hitter! No experience with Delta, Bren, or EAA guns.

I have a Smith 1006 and really like it. It shoots pretty good. I shot a doe this year with it at 23 steps. Only thing, Don't use Speer Gold Dots 180 gr and shoot into the shoulder. Broke it but did not get a bloodtrail. Next year will be shooting 200 gr Hornady XTP's or Barnes Bullets. Also get an extra power spring if you get one.

I like the Glock with Hornady 180 gr.xtp, and 175 gr. Winchester silver tips. I came across a Colt Delta Elite at one of our local gun shops on friday, he wanted $800.00 for it.

I think that Fusion Firearms is currently making the best 10mm on the 1911 platform. You might cruise over to the 1911forum.com and in the Fusion subforum you'll find lots of eye candy. Bob Serva is president of Fusion and he used to be president of Dan Wesson before it was sold to CZ-USA. Fusion has excellent customer service and he'll build you just about anything you can dream up on a 1911 platform. I love my 10mm 6" "1911" with target sights. I can't believe how accurate it is for the power it has. I like it so much more than a couple of Ed Brown 45s I'd owned just before it. So my vote would be to either order a new Fusion (made by Fusion), find a used one (made by Fusion), or consider buying a kit from Fusion and building it yourself.
