Just like the thread title says, what is your favorite handgun to hunt with. The one you could never part with or dare leave locked up in a vault. Show me pics if you got'em.

Mine I guess is my SBHH in .41 but I don't have any pics of her yet.

Hey man, you gonna shoot that thang or not?

SBHH in 44mag. It shoots 1" groups at 100yds and is soooo much better than carrying a rifle in the woods. I am for sure hooked on handgun hunting now.

My Bisley 45LC is on my belt anytime I enter the deer woods.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I think my 7.5 " scoped Bisley Blackhawk in 45 Colt--second may be my MGM 356 Winchester Encore

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Envy is a terrible thing, but both of my Casull's want to be like Glenn's when they grow up!

This is my current favorite, a Ruger Super Redhawk in .500 Linebaugh, topped with an Ultradot 30.

Here's another I am quite fond of -- my BFR in .500 JRH.

And I am warming up to this Bisley Hunter in .44 Mag......

That gun shoots scary small groups when the yahoo yanking on the trigger does his part. By the way, what is the single shot above chambered in?

SBHH .44 mag It's my one and only...and if it gets any better than that I don't even need to know about it!

The God who gave us such a beautiful land, wonderful game, and the sport of hunting is worth knowing.

Im gonna go with my 5.5 inch single six flat top in 22lr. Use that more than anything else. For hogs and bear (though I havent gotten a bear yet) my one and only big bore the SBH stainless 7.5.

That's the 6.5/270JDJ - absolutely wicked on game pushing 129 SST's.

I have many favorites, but the is my newest favorite:

It's a M97 in 45 Colt.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Indeed! And in the ideal all-around chambering ;-)

Just one? Really, do we have to pick just one?
For tree rat I've this little 8" .17hmr that is just perfect, for big ground rats (deer to some) I like the two gun set up. Hold the Iron site .44, pick up the scoped .270 if it is a longer shot. How about my favorite hunting handgun picture?

No, I think I like my Competitor in 376 Steyr best. I can't really choose.

My box stock Contender 35 Rem is a trusted friend. It taught me how accurate a handgun could be and is deadly like no other. I hunt with other handguns but when I'm serious I take my 35.

If had to pick one favorite it would be my 7.5" FA model 83 454. It works well for any size game.
