In the latest issue of Missouri Conservation the new 2012 hunting regs are listed. New for this year you can handgun hunt during muzzleloader season. It is about time!

Can you use any chambering, such as bottlenecks typically thought of in rifles that we like to make shortguns in? I hope MN goes that way soon.

I believe the regs stated; centerfire handguns with expanding bullets. If this is true, and I believe it is, it will be a real benefit to handgun hunters. If more states would follow, it would have a positive influence to handgun hunting in general.

It just stated that it needed to be handguns firing expanding-type ammunition.
