Do any of you guys know if the 310/330 grain bullets loaded in Garret 44 mag ammo are available to handloaders or are they proprietary ?

I meant to ask if the bullets he uses are available through a distributor/manufacturer that he buys from like CP, BTB,Montana, etc.........

IOW, who are they manufactured by or are they proprietary ?

I think he casts them, but I may be wrong.

Penn Bullets in PA (if they're still in business) makes the SSK 310 gr. cast bullets. I have a bunch and they work great. Turns the .44 into a moderate .454.

Sorry if this question may stray from the topic, but was wondering if the Garrett. 310gr ammo can be fired in a ruger super blackhawk? Again I apologize if my question strayed from the subject but I was curious to know.....thanks for reading and for any info you can provide me.

I shoot a LOT of the Penn 320gr SSK in my SBH Hunter .44. They are awesome! Pretty Bob is still in business....need to call him and order a bunch of different stuff. His website is looking up to date.

I like Penn bullets myself.Just recently ordered a few thousand from him and they are just as good as the previous couple of thousand that have went down the barrels of my collection.
