other than the action that I had already parts are starting to come in for my striker project. the SSS recoil lug was the first to be ordered and arrived with in a few days. next was the barrel. ordered it 12/18/11 through Brunos shooters supply. they quoted 18-24 weeks. came UPS yesterday.  Stock is still 4-6 weeks out. going to have to order the brake sooner than expected, but thats not a bad thing.

Excellent choice of barrel. I have this barrel on my new Apache Machine .284 XP100, 16", .900 at the muzzle, 1-9 twist. It will stack Berger 140grn VLD Hunters and Nosler 140 BT's. I just getting to the point the barrel is shooting great and needs very little cleaning. Good luck on the build.

thanks. just an update. my stock maker is slightly behind schedule but said all he has left is the trigger guard and I should have all of it back soon. im thinking another two weeks. luckily ive been messing around with my sportster so the build has not been on the radar as much but now that the stock is almost done I cant wait. time to get out the reamer and gauges! what do you guys think I should finish the metal with. ive use duracoat before and like it but sharp edges seem wot wear quick. a company called Tarjac is literally aross the road from where I work (i can see the top of their buildings right now) everyday and they have been doing the the hydro dipp for a long time. ive had a few long guns done and they are great. but recently they started to ceracoat stuff. I might have them do the barreled action with that. im not associated with them but here is the link, they do good work and I like to use locals when I can. http://www.tarjac.com/
