I can't quite put my finger on it but sooommmething is missing. It looks a little bottom heavy ;^) I know, it is missing the iron sights. Marble or Lyman?

Looks like a bucket of fun, and a whole lot of eager load work up anticipation.

Tom - sharp lookin' rig! Never fear, Steve's rigs shoot just as well as they pose for pics...

Can't wait on my Apache XP to pair with my rifle he built me.

And Ken, you know you're just holding that .284 temporarily for me...how many builds are in process now?

Very sharp looking rig. What does it weigh with that big pipe?

Tom,

Wow! Looks great. Steve is a very talented gunmaker. We are among a fortunate few indidviduals to own an Apache Custom IMHO. Congratulations, I'm looking forward to the range report!

Nice rig. I had a 284 once, will probably get another. It is a great chambering.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

That is very nice Tom. I really like my 284 from Steve. My rig weighs 9lbs with Burris 3x12 scope and bipod. I bet yours will be a little over that with the larger dia barrel you have.
The stock colors are fantastic.
