Ok thanks to every one for your advice so I have picked out my gun TC encore 25-06 and will put a Bushnell Elite 2-6X35 on it. So I want a muzzle brake. I am requesting your advice once again.
Thanks

I would say try it before you have a break installed. I had a Pro Hunter in 25-06 and I would say it wasn’t bad, for me that is… LOL

If you really want a break I am going to say give Rod a call or PM. He is doing a 460 S&W for me right now.

Some guys just like to flirt with disaster. The '06 cases aren't all that brutal, but I would brake it.

I like the Holland radial style, and the JP "howitzer" brakes for effectiveness. Our own wapitirod does a nice job of installing that stuff.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I agree with TCTex if you have not shot it yet. Everyone feels recoil differently but IMO the .25-06s recoil is very mild without a brake. I also have the Bushnell Elite 3200 on mine and its worked great.

Like it has been said, shoot it first then go from there. Then if you feel the need for a break Rod is the man. Hes put a break on everything I have except my 22. My latest is a 7.08 which knocked the recoil down to a 357. My 35 Rem is on its way to him as we speak.

I need counsiling cause I think Im having a muzzlebreak down

Don't know about the counseling; however, I would be willing to care for your guns while you recuperate from your "breakdown."

Make sure your brake has been hardened.
Otherwise it will cause you problems down the road.

Rod is the person to go to for any work. He put a brake on for me and did an excellent job. Thanks Rod.

Cheers
