i just ordered a 375 winchester barrel for my tc encore and i was woundering if any of you guys crimp the bullet. from reading about 44. and 357, crimping helps with pressures in powder like H110 and lilgunand some say they can get little better goups playing around pressures by crimping. but will a crimp help the 375 win.for now i will be loading with imr4198 and 200gr sierra's.

For strait-walled cases such as the 375 Win and the 45-70 Govt I only put enough crimp to roll the bell of the case mouth back strait in my T/C. This doesn’t put any hold on the bullet just removes the flare of the case at the bullet. In my 45-70 I’ve shot 300 to 430-grain bullets with this type of crimp and everything is working out fine. Velocities are good and I can’t tell any difference in the groups from crimped loads.

Havn't used crimp on straight walled cases in single shot pistols. All straight friction fit.
