I havent priced one of these but I have a friend thats wanting RBH w/4 5/8" barrel for $375, is it worth the funds?

Definately! I like the 4-5/8" barrel length! Have two-41, 45colt convertible w/45acp cyl. love em!

What kinda range would be safe for this one as far as hunting?

I picked it up tonite and to be honest I like the feel of it not to mention it balances pretty good. Off to the range to see what she feels like.

That depends on cal. and your ability.

I regularly shoot out to 100 yards with my 4" 44 mag. mountain gun. Practice,practice,practice!

This one is a 4" 357, and to be honest 50yrds would be my max on this one.
