I had this Simmons 4x lying around. So far so good.  The fact that it fits between the sights is a plus.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

CFish,
that looks good. have you had any problems with your rear sight hitting the scope?
with the long scope on mine there are a couple of dings in the scope from the rear sight. evidently in recoil there is some movement in the sight that allows it to hit even though there looks to be plenty of space.

LOL, When I was mounting it I noticed it was hitting. I thought about removing it. I lowered the rear sight down get my clearence. I have had no problems at all.

yep, that is exactly what I did too. didn't think it would hit with it screwed all the way down but something must move

Heres the bisley Nice group! Is that a 100yard group??...I have been trying to do that with mine at a 100 yards and not being too successful...
