Just wondering for you guys that use the Lee Case trimmer, do you have any issues with the shaft binding inside of the case mouth?

I encountered this with my once fired 454 casull brass. I am wondering if a little lube is necessary. Maybe a little graphite from a pencil lead? Just a thought.

I have never experienced that at all. If you used graphite I would suggest tumbling after trimming to remove graphite from the case.

yeah I think you are right. I would imagine any kind of lube used would require that. maybe I will only have to trim when the brass is new. not sure.

Yeah, I had mine fit a little tight. I am a machinest by trade so I removed a few thousandths of an inch from it. Problem solved.

Just chuck it up in a drill and run some sandpaper over it. I am sure you just need the slightest amount removed.

If you don't have access to a lathe, do what redline said. You only need a few thousandths. That will work.
